New Balance's ongoing partnership with Chicago-based creative Joe Freshgoods enters a new chapter on the recently revived M1000 silhouette, returning for the first time since 1999.

Taking things back to the M1000's heyday, Joe revisits some of his most treasured years filled with late nights and basement parties. The uppers are made with iridescent brown leather and accented with reflective details for a combination which encapsulates the future-heavy style which dominated the era.

Packaged in a custom-made silver chrome box and sporting plenty of JFG branding hits with flames to-boot, the Joe Freshgoods M1000JF1 is a lesson in storytelling through product design.
